Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power Clear Scrub Review

Like the Dove sample I received below, Neutrogena is still giving away these samples. You can get one by clicking HERE. One drawback to requesting this sample is you have to register an account on their site. The account is free but its more of a hassle than just putting in your address and clicking send.

The sample is more of a trial size. You get 1/2 an ounce. I have been using it for about 5 days now and I still have some left for a few uses. It's worth it to register to get this trial size. You can use it for a week instead of just once and it gives you a better sense of how the product will work for you.

On to the product review. I love this scrub. It smells nice, like a minty ocean without the fish smell, sorry thats the only way I can describe it. It is not a harsh scrub, its very gentle on your skin and you are not sloughing off your face like some scrubs. When you rinse it off your skin feels very silky and smooth. It seems to clean as well as moisturize. After I dried my face my skin looked bright and renewed. My skin has noticeably gotten clearer in the 5 days I have been using this. When my trial size it done I will be purchasing this.

I give the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Scrub:

I have 2 tips before you go signing up for free samples all the time.

1)

Get a free email account that you can use just for junk mail. You will get a lot of junk and it will clog up your inbox. It is very annoying to go though and delete all this junk mail all the time. It is easier to just use an account for this purpose only.

2)

Don't give out your phone number. Most of the time this is not even on the forms, sometimes it's optional , and sometimes it is required. I've signed up for one of those free internet phone numbers. I believe I have only used it 3 or 4 times. I went this route for 2 reasons, I don't need to use any of the numbers I actually use and it's much better than putting in a random number and torturing someone else who might have that random number.

With that said, here is the first round of free samples to sign up for!

Dove Go Fresh Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I just received this the other day. I did not request the sample too long ago and it looks like they are still sending them out. You can get one by clicking HERE.

You can choose from two different kinds, Go Fresh Therapy Energize and Shine Therapy. I chose the Go Fresh kind. The sample came with a shampoo and a conditioner and a surprisingly good coupon for $2.00 off one of their shampoos or conditioners. I plan on using the coupon but not for this product, I'll tell you why.

The shampoo smelled like chemicals, almost like a hair dye but not as strong. After I rinsed my hair out I found it really dried it out. I was really needing the conditioner after that.

I was expecting a nice fresh smell, maybe from the name of the conditioner (Go Fresh) but it was faint and perfumy. It did soften my hair up and gave it a nice feel. The one thing I really did like about the conditioner is it did not weigh my hair down. After my hair fully dried it still felt soft and had volume.

I would not buy the Go Fresh Therapy Energize shampoo or conditioner. I will, however, use the coupon they sent to buy another kind.

I give this sample:

Only because the conditioner left my hair soft and did not weigh it down.

Welcome

Welcome to my product review blog!

I would like to take moment and explaion what I got going here.

I've always loved free samples. Shampoo, conditioner, facial care, etc. I constantly search the web for free stuff that companies will send out for free, without having to sign up for certain "offers". I only want the samples that are really free with no catch.

Samples are a great way to test out a product before you run out and spend your hard earned money on it. I believe more companies should participate in giving away samples of their products.

I've decided to set up this blog to review all the free samples I get. Real honest reviews from a person just like you. If I like the product I'll let you know, if I hate then it will get a bad review.

Since samples take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to get to my house I am going to first review some previous samples that I have recently received. This way I can keep the blog going.

If I post a link to a sample that I sign up to get I won't be able to review that sample until I get it an use it. So it may be weeks to see a review for something I signed up for today. Fear not, my blog will be easy to navigate and read!

When I sign up to receive a sample I will post a link for you to go get the sample as well. Excited? I am!

I used to get 1 or 2 samples in my mailbox everyday and I am working on getting to that point again so I can keep this running smoothly. It is so much fun to open your mailbox and get little samples everyday!

I will have a rating system of stars, 5 for the best 0 for the worst. When there is one available I will have links to a coupon that you can use for whatever I am reviewing.

I would like this blog to be informative. I hardly buy products without looking at reviews and seeing what someone else has said about it.

Welcome once again to my blog and I hope you check back to get your free samples and read my reviews. I would love to hear your comments.
